1. There will be-no re examination for students
2. The scholastic year is divided into two terms. There will be two examinations, one towards the end of the first term and the second at the end of the second term based on the portion covered in a respective standard in each term. Besides these two Semester examinations, as part of the annual work, marks for four Unit Tests, Practicals, Oral exams, Projects and Assignments have been set aside to inculcate regular habits of study. The performance of a pupil is judged on the basis of the progress of the student during the whole year and not on any one single examination. Hence Semester examinations, Unit Tests, Practicals, Oral exams, Projects and Assignments are of equal importance for Std I to IXth. A pupil must get 35% marks in the aggregate of the two Semester examinations, the Unit tests, Practicals, Oral exams, Projects and the Assignments in each subject to pass the examination. A child who is getting less than 25% in the written examination will not be liable for promotion or any grace marks. So 25% and above marks in the written exam is a must for every child for promotion.
3. Absence from any subject in the examination involves the loss of mark for those subjects and exclude the pupil from a card of prize and being reckoned in the order of merit or rank in the examination.
4. Answer papers of 1st term examination and Unit Tests of your ward will be .shown to the parents/guardians on the Report Day for verification, but not of the llnd Term Examination.
5. The results of the examination are final and cannot be reconsidered.
6. A student found copying or helping others to copy during an examination, or if discovered subsequently will be debarred from the rest of the examination. Such a student is liable to be dismissed from the school.
7. A pupil who fails consecutively twice in the same standard is liable to be asked to leave the school.
